Here’s a short, but entertaining, view of a live craps game at Luxor USA Casino Online. I didn’t play this time, and I’m glad I didn’t. see as a newbie player at the end of the table reaches in to buy-in right when the shooter tosses the dice! DON’T DO THIS!

When you step up to a table, before you place your money (or chips, in this case) on the table, look to see what the activity is. Are the dealers paying out? Does the shooter have the dice?
If the shooter has the dice, hold off until the dice are thrown and the stickman collects the dice before you drop your money down.
It’s probably a good idea to see the game for a couple rolls before you decide to buy-in, just to see if the table is hot or cold, and if you really want to be playing at that particular table.

The next thing to see is the shooter. He’s setting the dice as any other Dice Influencer would. BUT, he takes a LONG time to set the dice and he has no real cast or skill in his throws. It’s likely that he’s seen dice setters before, has read up on it, thinks he can do it, but doesn’t really practice or hasn’t been trained. He’s wasting A LOT of time setting those dice and getting the same results a random shooter would get. Sure he hit a point, but he maybe had about 6-7 rolls before he it 7-out.

I believe in Dice Control/Dice Influencing, but I’m not able to do it. It’s a skill that takes A LOT of practice to master, and even then it’s hard to do well. It’s like the golfer who spends COUNTLESS hours honing his skill at hitting the golf ball PERFECTLY every time, trying for that elusive hole-in-one. But, no matter how much practice the golfer puts into his game, the chances of him getting a hole-in-one with EVERY shot at the same hole is slim. There are too many variables at play (slight muscle changes, slight changes in grip, dirt on the club, a slight angle in the club face, a slight breeze, the turf, etc.) And just as there are too many variables at play for the golfer to hit the ball perfectly EVERY time, so there are also too many variables at play for the craps shooter to be able to toss the dice PERFECTLY every time in the same EXACT spot every time. Variables like muscle memory variance, moisture on the fingers, slight grip changes, the atmosphere in the USA Casino Online, the slight changes in the table surface, etc., all play against the shooter being able to toss the dice with perfection every time.
Just like in golf, the physics of DI/DC is sound, but it’s the human factor that makes DI/DC VERY hard to master. Can you influence the outcome of the dice? YES. If you PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and know how and where to toss the dice, it can be done. But, if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re no ameliorate than the random shooters at the table.
